Thank You For Supporting The Steilacoom Tribe

What is this project?

The Steilacoom Tribe owns a historical building in the Town of Steilacoom. Built in the early 1900s, this building requires significant work to preserve it's history; and with it, the history of our People. This building is our Home! Although The Steilacoom People signed the Medicine Creek Treaty in 1854, the federal government has denied our request for federal recognition. As a result, we do not have a reservation. What we do have is our Tribal History Museum, along with the support and recognition from the local community. The Town of Steilacoom has long supported The Steilacoom Tribe, and we are grateful to have our home here. This historical building renovation project was born out of that support, and for that, we lift our hands in thanks!

How Can You Help?

We invite you to join us on this journey! Thanks to generous donations and grants, we've been able to start this long-awaited project. However, we still have a long way to go. We aim to raise an additional $250,000 to continue funding the renovation of this historic building. Every dollar donated through this link will go towards this project.

The Steilacoom Tribal Museum Association is a 501c3 non-profit, and all donations made to this project are tax-deductible. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out via email SteilacoomTribe@msn.com. If you prefer to send a donation by check, please mail it to:
